Hey Niks, it's actually Duckie that is leaving in 2 days.
I am going in a couple of weeks to Colorado to see my sister and my daughter, I am very excited because I haven't told them that we quit yet. They will be thrilled, so we might just have a celebration there, neither one of them has ever smoked and have been after me for YEARS!!!!
Oh and just to brag I am going to Hawaii also at the 1st of October, was looking forward to the trip but not the flight because of the smoking but NOW I am so looking forward to the flight, won't have any withdrawals and we are going 1st Class so I am gonna ENJOY!!! Another wonderful thing about being a non smoker.
Off to do some running today, hope you all have a great day and hang in there everyone....WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!

Hi Mama, I just read your post on the morning craving. You see the first cig in the am I had 5 mins after slipping out of bed. I couldn't wait for the coffee to be ready, and then I had another one with my coffee. In fact I smoked the most in the morning. Here's how I beat the morning crave. I leave a full bottle of water on my nightstand and as soon as I wake up I drink half of it, I've been doing this since the beginning and now when I wake up I think only of having my water and then my coffee. Hope this helps :)Marie

ROFLMAO I just figured out what it means.......Well I don't stay too long at those threads you know ...the smoking ones, they affect me too, for about 2 seconds, then I reaffirm my quit. Do you remember when we were children? When I would do something to be like my friends, my parents would say ,If your friend jumps in the lake, are you going to follow? Well I don't intend to follow in those footsteps. So one day at a time and things will get better :)Thinking of you June Bugs cheer up............ :)
