Ok - get some bath salts, apple cider vinegar and some candles. Yes, candles (and see below for one more ingredient). It's relaxing and clearing time, friend.
A hot bath - add the bath salts (lavender is so relaxing) - add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar (it does alot of things, but in the moment I am looking to remove stress and lighten the energy in and around you) and yes, light some fragrant candles... Oh and if there is a Whole Foods or any health food store, pick up some peppermint or spearmint essential oil (one will do, or both is good)... While the bath water is running, add NO MORE than 2 drops of either essential oil... this is magic :) Dim those lights or turn them off - we are looking for gentle here... very gentle.
Do the above in tandem with the doc's advice... The stress will leave you if you do this... Every night for a week or two...
