No time for blues Breaking Free.... we have a PARTY to organise, celebrating that nearly all June Bugs are onboard and that May Company are preparing to leave the ship for Century Beach....oh yes, oh yes, OH YES,YES !!! I would like to respectfully invite our venerable May Quitters from previous years...including Penitent, Shevie, Hummybird and Peanut who have all kept a protective eye on our May Co '06 Quitters, for which, our grateful thanks. ROLL CALL for May Company and June Bugs...fall in line you rowdy bunch, need to check the numbers for ordering food and wine... OK, May Company : I see, in no particular order, (except, would you mind all standing alphabetically cos I'm English and I just love a tidy queue, I'm joking, I think!!!)... Breaking Free, Chickstarr, Determined2Quit, Doodlebug, Ex-slave, Hurstk, me, Success and Sushik. Great job everyone, we've come a long way, nearly up to 100 days smoke free!! Anyone else lurking and not posting?? Get your a**es over here. And now June Bugs : First 50 days, hardest job, my view, completed with STYLE, hope you're all enjoying the Cruise, you're a great bunch of people. I see...Madi33, Sullydog, Mookie, Edgefan, Ann, Cheermom, Andy(...I know it says Andy but she's definately a lady!! I got it right this time Andy,lol), Jeanigirl, Skidoo1967, Niks, Kolativey, Marie, Jessy and Navigator. A BIG WELCOME ABOARD for Mama who joins us on Monday, looking forward to that, and Bonbon who follows on the next day. 4 more June Bugs the next week and we're then all aboard and ready to PARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY So, Breaking Free, really need your help and expertise. You're right Marie, the beach gets pretty quiet as well at times but then people are on holiday, or away doing other things, but like you say the quit is the important thing, doesn't matter where or how it happens. I like the lighthearted part of the site, you know the cafe, the ship, the beach and all that cos my work is serious and often very sad, (I'm a nurse) so this is a good escape for me, de-stresses me after work and keeps me focussed on not smoking. Hi Marie again, That was a rubbish waste of time, I've had family staying for the holidays and loads of sheets and bedding hanging on the line, almost dry and I missed the start of the rain...wet through again, and I broke a nail rushing!! GRRRrrrrrr......malheureusement and dolheureusement, I think!! Glad I'm here on the cruise ship and not at home with soggy washing!! And glad I'm not smoking ...YAY!!! See ya soon, Marie... In many respects it's me who needs to thank you because having the Cruise ship kept me focused on not smoking as I reached the 3 month mark which had previously been the point at which I caved in.
