Day 9 for me, and I am certainly eating more. I'm concerned, but I've decided, from experience, that it is easier to lose weight than it is to quit smokings, so I'll let myself eat for a while.

Oh I know how you are feeling Oodle. I am off to Cyprus end Aug, and i have a festival to go to beginning of Aug, most of my clothes barely fit me.. :o(
I am off to the gym now.. I really dont want to go, but I must get my lardy self there, otherwise I will really regret it when I have to wear a bikini in August!

You are not alone. I have gained all kinds of weight as well and the weight is effecting me in other aspects of my life. I could cry right now over it. I really hate this.

Hi,
Me too. I put on about (picture me mentally trying to multply kilo's by 2.2 to get pounds) 14 pounds - horrible feeling.
For me the weight gain seemed to slow down after about 6 weeks and in the past week or so I've lost 5 pounds YAY. I'm trying to avoid punishment diets ('cause I've been a mad yoyo dieter in the past), so I have little daily indulgences and walk and eat lots of fruit and vege's.
Weight gain is never permanent, it is transient. Dear Oodlechick, have your sugar in small luxurious doses - not overdosing on crappy junk.
This too shall pass!
cheers
alison :)

I agree with Rob! Just let it slide for now. Be aware of what you eat and how much but you need to be forgiving right now! Hang in there sweety! You know a good way to ease it, don't weigh yourself!!! hehehe!
