You said, "The longer I dont smoke the more I want too, shouldnt it be the other way around?" It works both ways a cruel cycle that only you and time can stop. The longer we smoke the more we want to quit. Especially when we start getting that deep cough worried about lung cancer, dying.
It is all in our minds for the most part from what I read. Remember to breath. All you have to do is make it threw today.
You've come a long way baby...kick that sticks butt!
I know that it is hard I had the same kind of day Sunday, I made it until Monday with out giving in and I was very happy I did. Mon day and today are soooo much better, you CAN do it. We are all here for you.

Your mind is yours. It does not belong to Nicodemon. Do not let him have control over your thoughts. Use your mind to talk back to him ... to talk him down ... to kick his worthless a$$! Get pissed off at him. How dare he try to take something that does not belong to him ... your mind ... your life?!!! Take your mind and life back now.
You can do this Julie. Do not give up. Do not give in.
Remember your breathing ... deep inhale, exhale
Remember your rewards ...
You are at 15 days ... persevere.

I felt bloated and still do. I know it will pass with time though. My body is going through all kinds of weird changes ... but what do we expect after pumping it full of chemicals day in and day out for umph number of years.
Protect you quit like it is your third child.
Glad to see you are still here Julie & still quit!

Ok Julie time to switch gears... get outside or to a gym and sweat out all the anxiety and anger.
You have to step down from the patches gradually and plan accordingly each time you step down.
Hope this helps,
Danielle

This is going to sound not right, but I am glad I am not the only one with that anoying voice suger coating the cigs. Knowing I am not alone helps me to stay strong. I think of all of you who struggle with the same and know if I can get beyond this so can you.
Thanks!

Thank you so much for your support! As I come to a close of my 15th day, I am greatful that I have made it. My children (6yrs and 10yrs) absoletuly stressed me out today, but I made it through it. They keep trying to take my gum and I growl at them and tell them that the gum is now my cigarettes leave it alone. I dont feel like Ive gained weigh but I feel extremly bloated. I ve been eating normal (healthy) but I figure it the sugar subt stuff in the candy and gum. I plan on going swimming tomorrow (I love to swim). I have alot of fun now that my kids can actually swim and so CAN I! We go bike ridding alot but its been too hot to do so. Talk about swimming, a person sure can tell the lung damage when you go swimming a swim laps! Once again thanks for all your support and best of all I take your encourgement to heart because I know you know exactly what I am going through.
Have a great evening!
Julie

I really cant stant this any longer. The nicodemon seems to outpowering the smokefree side. The longer I dont smoke the more I want too, shouldnt it be the other way around? today and yesterday its making me feel crazy. That little or shall big voice in my head (no I am am not a schizo!) keep making me feel like just get a pack and all this suffering will go away just accept the fact of being a smoker. Somehelp I just want ittttttttttttttt to stop. I feel like I went from being addicted to cigarettes to being addicted to patches!
