BR that is great news...I am so happy for you but as you said you will hear on the one he really wants today SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I am sending silent prayers all day today that you hear good news and he gets to choose what he wants. Please remember though whatever happens is happening for a reason and soon you will understand that reason. You are so strong and I have been reading your threads like crazy, especially since you are both quitting together as I am with my husband. You give me tons of inspiration because you are a head of me and you always have great advise and wonderful words to offer to everyone here. I agree with what was said earlier.....I hope your family truly knows how blessed they are to have you in their lives. Good luck today and have a great weekend. YOU DID IT......YOU DID IT....you got through this really hard time not smoking......INCREDIBLE!!!! :o) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/19/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 39 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 395 Amount Saved: $78 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 20 Mins: 10 Seconds: 57

Awwww BF, I am so sorry you are going through this (((((((((HUG)))))))))) What a great support you are for your husband, I have truly looked up to you both as my husband and I are quitting together. This is a tough time but let up help you get through it. Things do always happen for a reason and at the time you really don't want to hear that but I know in my heart something great will come of this. Remember even if you smoked nothing would change you would still feel the same way. Things would be exactly as they are now!!! I know you don't feel like it but if you could take a few mintues and just go for a walk, breath in some great air and dang it....YELL....if you have to (while you are along so no one knows....lol...I like doing that). Then I look over my shoulder to make sure no one did heare me. Stay strong, you have it in you...I have watched and learned from you and you have been so strong for others....let us be strong for you now. I will be thinking of you often today and sending good thoughts your way. Free, So sorry to hear that things have not been going any better for you. As others have already said, you need to do what you need to do to take care of your family. There's no shame in that -- but I can imagine how you must feel. If it's any consolation, you have dozens of people here wishing you well and pulling for you. The fact that you're enduring all this and still maintaining your quit is beyond admirable. You're one great lady, that's for sure. BF, No reason to get down about all this... 1) Your husband does have ONE job offer. A job means money coming in which will take some of the stress off your family. 2) No reason why your hubby can't take the one job, and continue to look for others that enable him to stretch and grow. 3) Suggest that your hubby contact the company that *didn't* offer him the job that he would have preferred, and talk to them about why they didn't hire him. Sounds a little daft -- but if you do it in the right way (telling them that you are sincere and enthusiastic about getting into that field and would like to know how you can build your skills/expertise to be a stronger candidate), most are flattered and willing to be helpful. 4) You have been so strong and steadfast through all this. It's hard, I know -- I lost my job a month ago, still have nothing, and have no significant other, let alone someone as wonderful as you, to stand by me. 5) Feel good, stay strong, and keep on keeping on. We're all pulling for you and are in this together. :) Livadia My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 41 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 828 Amount Saved: $205 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 19 Mins: 54 Seconds: 34
