Today is six weeks! Yay! I still keep putting myself in dangerous situations at weekends when I come 90% close to quitting smoking! Stupid, but I dont smoke and then the next day I do feel great. I know it would be great to be a social smoker at those events (I have to breath others smoke anyway so why not). The quit is definately getting easier. I dont think about it at all, ever. EXCEPT when I go out on a weekend and am around smokers and i am drinking. Then it DOES take will power. Apart from that its all straightforward and I dont think about smoking at all. Thank you for everyones nice posts. I just had to post the six week thing, its ALWAYS a big deal because guaranteed at the weekend I did have more than 20 danger situations and maybe i came so so close to losing it... but didnt. That for me is a huge celebration, then come Monday i hit another week. Which is always a good thing.
