Barbara I'm sorry I didn't see your post, of course you need attention, you're dealing with a lot right now, you're not a brat, just beating this addiction , it takes every once of your energy, leaves you vulnerable. Congratulations on your stats, you're doing it. Keep on fighting the good fight one day at a time :)Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 87 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,314 Amount Saved: $348 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 13 Mins: 13 Seconds: 38

Barbara, there is no shame on using NRT, that's what they're there for, they will give you a change to get rid of the habits, like after meals, on the phone etc, they buy you time, they don't stop you from smoking, you stop you from smoking. Congrats again you're doing it . :)Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 87 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,314 Amount Saved: $348 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 13 Mins: 16 Seconds: 55

I'm glad you did post again, sometimes posts are missed without explanation. Honey, you are almost done with hell week, and you should be proud. It doesn't matter how you do it, as long as you are not puffing on the cigs! I chose wellbutrin to help my quit. Hang in there, you're doing great! (I was a basket case my first week) Andrea My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 93 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,872 Amount Saved: $441.75 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 20 Mins: 59 Seconds: 26

Well done Barbara on your first big week! Loved this topic title, though I don't think it applies to you! Made me laugh a lot. You need all the attention you can get at the moment at this stage in your quit. Be as attention-seeking and as much of a brat as you like - after all your quit is just a few days take care and congratulations!!
