I usually feel happier, more energetic, just in an all around better mood during a full moon. So I'm actually a little more excited about my quit date today. I'm even going out in a while to pick up some "stop smoking supplies"...gum, twizzlers, sunflower seeds, etc. I even told my kids about my quit date today. So I guess it must make me feel braver too lol My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: -19 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 0

Ann rest if you can I think we all go through ups and downs, I am by no means an expert since I'm a new non-smoker but I can tell you this, yesterday was my best day ever, I even went out with a smoker and I was fine. Smoking was not an option for me. Today I wish I hadn't stopped smoking, but when those thoughts jump into my mind I get up and drink water or I go outside and putter in my flowers or I walk around the block, and then they disappear. Posting is a huge help also. So I hope you feel better soon Marie :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 29 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 444 Amount Saved: $116 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 21 Mins: 40 Seconds: 3

Yep last few days have been horrible. I felt really down, i wanted to smoke yesterday, it was as much as I could do not to go and buy a pack, and I didnt want to come here for help either, as threads were either disappearing or things seemed to be negative. I felt really bad and didnt feel i had anywhere to turn to. Eventually i just went to bed and told myself tomorrow was another day and how could i address things more constructively the next day. I do feel a lot better today. My boss has given me 2 days off work, so I can get myself centred again - in my line of work i cant afford to feel down, and not together. I work with someone who is into all of this, and often in our office there will be friction - and she will always say must be the full moon...... so maybe there is something in it. Ann, As we have discussed on other threads, I am feeling very off lately, and when I think about it, it was right about mid month last month when I had my slip (the 16th to be exact). Was that a full moon too?
