Lady - Just checking in today and saw that you were having a hard time! I'm so sorry! While there is still daylight can you go hit some range balls? I'm starting my lessons in a couple of weeks so we can play a round eventually!LOL! The worms better watch out for my playing! Is there anything that we can do for you besides rest in the knowledge that you are not going to go to the store? I know you girl and you won't smoke...so how else can we help you? AYYYYY YYAAA! Don't like those one bit necause I have such a hard time dealing because I don't know where the crave to smoke has come from. Lady As you have said ... "Calm down, take some deep breaths. Take my hand and lets walk together. Lets go down this path here because that sign says freedom. Come with me one step at a time, one foot in front of the other. You can do it." I know because you have done it so well and for so long. Hope you feel better soon. Lady, I started a new job about 6 weeks ago.. boy, does it create a few triggers... For me it's the self doubt and meeting new people. Sometimes I just want to hide and I don't have any reason to leave anymore ;-). Congrats on the new job! I still sometimes think it would be easier if I just smoked.. I'm still not quite sure who I am sometimes without those stupid cigs. I seem to be less obsessives since I quit, which I believe was what made me such a great work a holic ;-). Now I have to find out if I'm any good without the addiction... very wierd and unexpected thing. You've been quit for so long, I feel stupid trying to encourage you considering my little quit. But, I do know what its like to start a new job... If you were at your old job for awhile, it's hard. I didn't realize how close I was to my workmates, how confident I was in my ability to make a difference. Now it's new friends and new challenges.. with no crutch. It's scary and its exciting. I can't wait until I don't feel new anymore, but I think it will take a while. The hardest part for me is that I feel lonely. Lots of new triggers that are forcing me to create lots of new coping skills. I purchased a book called "small talk" to help me learn to meet people without going out for a smoke :-). Good book, kinda fun too. Pardon typos, I'm gettin' tired. Good luck to you and let us know how it goes.
