Oh God.. I so know exactly what you are going through.
I have a bad leg, and scholiosis from it... I am hurting so bad right now, and i'm going through the worste thing ever... My husband hid my car keys... i was gonna go get some cigarettes. I still have keys to the older car, but I came here first.
I understand. Smoking does numb pain.. it dulls your nerve endings because they aren't getting the blood flow they would otherwise. Also the dopamine shot.. that helps numb the pain. I understand.
I hope that you're not gonna do it and throw away everything you've done so far, because there's other ways you know. We could go on anti-depressants.. they help with the pain too. Just have to hold out a little while, OK? I know that most people don't know what it's like to live with chonic pain, but just so you know.. I understand.
Plus the Chiropractor. I have medicare because of my deformed leg and when medicare started covering scripts, this company came and sold me their medicare supliment, which turned out to not be a suplement but a medicare take over. medicare used to cover me going to the Chirorpractor, and then the company took over and now I have a huge chirorpractor bill that I didn't even know that I was running up. This set me back by miles today.. that was the only releif I knew I had, and I couldn't go today. I went online and got rid of that suplement thing, but I still owe the chiropractor tons of money now. I feel devestated.. that was the only releif I still had. If you can go.. go.. it helps me anyhow.
I was gonna take a hot bath, but I don't ahve a tub - only a shower. Was gonna go to my mom's for a bath, but my husband stuck me taking care of the baby, and I missed my bath so he could watch cartoons. I called m mom to tell her I couldn't come and she got madd at me and hung up on me, and it doesn't look like i'll be able to ask her to let me come over for that anymore.
My shoulder feels like it is up by my ear, and I hurt so bad, and this si the worste that i've ever wanted to smoke since I quit.
