I never noticed them when I opened the first box. (I quit for 4 days last week) but I noticed it when I opened up a second box this week. I don't know if it's because they are a different box of patches (same brand) or because my nose is getting more sensitive. Go figure!!?? Well Mr ED i dont have any matches and i dont light the patehes, i am like most people here and place them on my arm. but they do stink (or at least i think so). Is it just me that notices the smell from the the patch (if u r using them for help to quit) Does any one else notice this or am i the only one. Fruedian slip...? Too funny, Free! Actually I smell it also. It [i]smells[/i] like nicotine. When I smoked, I would sweat and could actually smell the nicotine in my sweat.
