Oh Mi God Lady!! How I can relate! I only just realised (by reading your post) that I've stopped playing the shouldda wouldda couldda game with myself and actually living life. Eg: just applied for manager role where I'm working. YAY Wish me luck. Thanks John W! in Oklahoma. My new addictions are 1) Reading and posting here. 2) Revelling in freedom. 3) Putting $10 aside every day and watching it turn into a pile of cash. 4) Walking with my daughter. Cheers alison :) Kick the Herb to the Kerb My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/16/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 55 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,656 Amount Saved: $687.5 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 19 Mins: 49 Seconds: 13

Hi John W and all of you. I have a terrible addiction. I need my fix regularly throughout the day. I like to think that I can do this on a social level, but I know I'm only fooling myself. I have been doing this for so long that serious symptoms have developed: I think that I am a horse(that talks) and lives on a Beach, where I make breakfast for the other addicts. Is there a site out there for people with the dreaded SSC syndome? Hi John... Other addictions.... 1. I've become a golf addict. Watching and playing :p 2. I'm addicted to living life instead of sitting on the deck thinking about "what if's". 3. Self Improvement, trying to keep a positive attitude and be a better person. 4. I too have become quite attached to my computer and the SSC :) It's great! I wouldn't trade my smoke free life for anything in the world. John W, Penitent, Luna, SSC Team - You all played an integral role in my success. I've made it one year, and only visit ever so often simply because I moved on. We're all different, and I thought that the best for me, was to be heavily involved at first (on SSC), and then to taper off and totally remove myself from thinking about anything to do with smoking. Now there is no chance of going back and I don't even think about smoking any longer. And I smoked for 15 years, so it was the real deal. So I will try to visit more often now. I thank you all for helping me get back to a real life. No longer do I worry about what I am doing to my health when I smoke. No longer do I smell like smoke, or have to carry cologne around, or wonder if my kids will think it is OK to smoke. I am free, and I can breathe again. Thank you Thank you Thank you.
