Well it's a bit of a dreary day in central Virginia, overcast, misting, drizzling, occasional heavier rain. A perfect day for a walk in the woods down by the river. The trees here are just tipping from greens to slight auburn, amber, umber and sienna hues. A mist enveloped the forest views and the river scenery seemed stippled out of a Georges Seurat painting, very subdued, very energized. The river spoke in congratulatory gurgles. She said drink this in - this is what freedom tastes like. I drank.
