Leslie....this is the junky in you. Any REAL stress can bring him up even in a long time quitter. Realize what it is...remember that you are an addict....doesn't matter how long you haven't smoked, you are an addict.....one puff can send you careening down the mountain back into the pit. Drag up your old coping skills and put them back to work.....this WILL pass. Quit giving that junky your mind. Take it back, the SECOND he starts talking...don't entertain the thoughts of wanting a smoke. YOU don't want a smoke...that ole junky does. he sees a prime opportunity to climb into your head and take over....put a stop to it! Stay away from smokers...think on the "positive" of having quit...realize that giving in will send you back through hell week?? CHOOSE to stay a winner, even though that junky is prowling in your mind. and remember what you already know....smoking will change NOTHING! It will take your money and your self confidence, the pride you have built by quitting. Hang on Leslie....most of us have to face a test well into our quit.
