I found my Mantra!

Well, I have been preparing like the good quitter I am going to be! I have started exercising, reading like crazy, and drinking water. This weekend we had a bunch of company over drinking and swimming in the pool...I practiced going without smoking! Wasn't too bad. Here is what I learned over the weekend. Not only am I going to quit smoking on 6/11 I am going to stop drinking for awhile. I am not a big drinker but having a "sissy la la" drink by the pool will now just be plain fruit juice with a fancy straw. Also, my great-nephew (3 yrs old) taught me what my mantra will be...it was so cute when he said... "Bring it on Putcake"! When those craves get really bad I will say it over and over and over until the feeling goes away. I also went looking for food snacks that can help compensate. I like the idea of "Goldfish" crackers. You can eat 55 of them for 140 cals., 0 trans fats, and 4g of protein. Not bad! Well, I will be reading away for the next 6 days and doing all the work to get ready. All I can say is...."BRING IT ON PUTCAKE"!
