Emotional Roller Coaster

It goes without saying that I know what you mean about being all over the place emotionally. If it makes you feel any better, for me it really smoothed out a great deal by the end of the first week. Yes I still get snippy at time, but no where like I was that first week. And congratulations on starting this journey with us! You rock! Bingo P.S. - I love your syrup. :) (Sorry, just hadda say it!) Hi - have you thought of taking walks, doing puzzles and organizing closets. Keep yourself busy - may I also recommend to watch your caffeine intake (green tea has a lot of this) as it might trigger some cravings. I stayed with water and just had my morning coffee. I'm one of the strange people that can drink coffee and not want a smoke. You are experiencing all the normal frustrations - keep coming in and telling us what's going on with you, I think you're doing great! Hang in there - you will feel better it just takes time, it's hard to be patient. The hard part is finding the new you and what the new you does to pass the time!!!! Vent away Northwoods, this journey IS an emotional rollercoaster. Good days, bad days, up and down we go. Listen to your common sense, it's right. Try not to use this worry about your mom-in-law as a reason for a cig. The worry will not go away and you will feel terrible about yourself. Good for you on recognizing junkie thinking. Very smart. Take care and Keep Strong. yup used those words more than once. Roller coaster ride will come to an end and it will be flat and fine with a little bump in the road every now and then, just hang on tight for now, use your coping skills and come here lots. it really does help. you can do this.
