You go Mr. ED on 78 days - Fantastic Cuddles It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit...... Mr Ed, Can you keep a secret? You know what happens when you go without your patch for the first time............ er um, well nothing much. This is the same as any other 'step down' you have done, except it is the easiest one. Again you will probably 'notice it' for a couple of days.....and then you know for certain that the rest of your problems are psychological. :eg: :p Hey, you are doing great! You know when someone goes without their patch, on this site it is called 'going naked'...so I'm glad you picked a sunny day for it. ;) As our American friends would say "Way to Go". Lizzie :)

Fran, Do not be too worried. The hard step down is from smoking-patch 1, and possibly from patch 1-patch 2. Yes, you will probably 'notice' a difference for a couple of days, but nothing like week 1 or week 2 or week 3.... I was worried too - I think it is probably normal to worry! You have been developing good coping skills over the last weeks, and you will be OK.
