I haven't posted here in a long time; But thankfully your all still here. I guess I should re introduce my self to those who don't know me. I quit smoking after 17 years on Aug 4, 2004 I slipped once on October 15, 2004, and haven't had one since. (you can read more in the hall of fame)
Any way the reason why Iam back and seeking help. I have had a very stressfull year so far with unemployement and problems with child care, job stress, and finacial burdens. Yesterday they all came to a head and I spend the majority of the night in tears. But I didn't smoke, I didn't even crave one or think of one. This moringing I woke up still in a funk, but craving major craving, I keep hearing the little voice in the back of my head saying have one it will make you feel better, just one, then you can quit again. Then this other voice whom I hopeing in the end wins is you guys saying, it only takes one to get hooked again, one will kill you, it won't solve anything, ect.......but that voice is still here, I told a co-worker that right now I'd chew off my left arm and give it to her for a smoke, thankfully she has no use for my left arm and didn't give me a smoke. I can actully see my self stopping to get gas tonight and buying a 20 pack of smokes and hiding them in my car so no one knows. but I would know and all this work over the last year and a half would be for nothing. I hope I have the strengh to make it through.
Thank you all for listening, I know I can always count on you.
To all your newbees please don't be scared that a person with so much time under thier belt is having a hard time and that the pain never ends, it does, 98% of the time I don't think about or want a smoke. just every once in a blue moon it sneeks up one me.
