Sharon - thank you for sharing this. On my one year anniversary, I am reminded that I always need reminders. Nice to meet golferman's wife!! Congratulations on your quit and so happy for you for making it through this ordeal! A woman here several years ago took offense to folks sharing gruesome tales as it were. When I recommended www.quitnow.info.au (Australia's Quit Smoking Governmental Program), she went there and returned to share with us that she did not need to be scared quit. She is now smoking almost twice as much as before I am told. Maybe a little scared quitness would have done the trick. Could it be that some just do not want to face reality. God forbid they were shown justification enough to quit smoking. Sad but true...Lindsey My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/10/2001 Smoke-Free Days: 1677 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 100,665 Amount Saved: $16770 Life Gained: Days: 346 Hrs: 4 Mins: 29 Seconds: 9
