I'm here! Still doin' it! Every time I think I have it licked, I have a day where it just feels like smoking would make the day so much easier. JUNKIE! I tell myself. STOP! I tell myself. After a long hard day like today, I have a choice. I can smoke, which would destroy my lungs, my self-esteem and my new good smell, or I can find a way to relax and really reward myself for all my hard work, instead of hunkering down and sucking in carcinogens allowing myself to mope about. onward and upward! sorry. I just ramble on in many of my posts. I hope no one minds. I'm still here. I am doing pretty good. I have my rough moments but I just keep telling myself N.O.P.E It seems like everyday that goes by with me not smoking makes the next day that much easier. Hi 4my2girls, I quit in December and made it about as far as you are, somewhere around 50 days...then I had approx. 5 days of feeling tired and cranky and wondering why I quit in the first place... So I smoked. Just one, of course. Then that was alright so I had one more. The next day I put the patch back on. The next day I just had a couple. Then I bought a pack. When I was back up to a pack a day (didn't take long) I suddenly remembered why I quit in the first place... I've been hanging around in the background for most of this quit because I feel like an idiot. I went so long and it was so hard, and I just gave it up because I wasn't feeling very happy or proud of myself for a couple of days. 50 days is something to be VERY proud of! I am proud of you. Your cold will pass and your mood will change and you will live to see more of your children. Do something for you today. You deserve it.
