I really dont know where to begin. I have been away on a very long journey into the mind discovering totally different perceptions of life and death. Please allow me to point out that you can not get in to see God with out an appointment. My friend is still out there having given up his physical body to lung cancer. Prior to his final breath on earth we decided to go talk to God and see whats up and what was on the other side of the perceived imagination of the here after. We split a pint of shine and were on our way. Using a somewhat dated but totally effective accelerant for the mind we boogied on down or up whatever to the unknown road to see God and get some clues as to the mysteries of life and death. We definitely got somewhere but not where we planned or had hoped to be and I lost my friend in the universe and began my own oddesy into the unknown. Our brain is so capable of perceived ideas planted as early as the womb. Our brains have been under control and regulated by what ever jurisdiction we happen to be under at any given time. When freed from these controls, rules and insane patterns of discipline, we can perceive ourselves as one with the universe and begin to understand who we really are. Nicotine is one form of imprisonment of the brain and once free from its grasp we can begin to enjoy a more healthy life and thought process. Meditation is another form of releasing the brain from the agonies of imprisonment and gives it the opportunity to expand and perceive differently. Life is an illusion put in front of us by a force so strong as to be totally illusive no matter how hard we chase it. Notice how everything happens to others and not you - that is part of the illusion. This is my last post here at the SSC. I have totally enjoyed my stay and the people I have met. I have never posted a rant before and I must say this is fun. Back in the late 50s and early 60s I made many trips into the unknown but never really appreciated where it took me and lessons learned. Next month I begin my own struggle with another round of tests that so far have indicated the big C of the prostrate. I may opt to do nothing but enjoy the rest of my days in peace and quiet. I no longer have any fear of the unknown and really look forward t

Ah, Master Poe takes a bow. Dear Bob, You have been the teacher, the friend, and the guidance counselor. To me, you will always be the SSCs voice of wisdom with a heart of gold. Thank you for your goodness and for sharing your wealth of knowledge. Take care of yourself and Roxanne. God bless you both. Master Poe: If that is our destiny, you cannot change it. But do not go in fear, Grasshopper. Fear is eternal darkness. Go instead with inner strength. For it is like a deep river, into which all streams flow. It increases, always moving forward. And soon, there is nothing that can stand in its way.
