No need to be embarrassed Nascarfan. I feel the same way you do as far as the support.
I wish I could download the messenger here to talk to you. But my computer won't let me do it. And I don't see anywhere on here that you can 'private message' someone like on other types of forums or I would have probably done so.
I think in the first few days it really helps to talk, talk and talk some more. We are not use to not going for a smoke. Talking, typing in the meantime can help until we feel a little more comfortable to break out and go do things like going to the movies. I know that right now I do not want to be far from home. Home is my safe zone at the moment ... baby steps I guess.
I have plans to start adding new things to my life and I will at my own pace. Right now ... I, like you, just feel the need to talk ... to get it all out.
I imagine with your husband not quitting it is probably making you want to do so even more.
This morning I forgot to put my patch on ... by noon I was crashing hard ... wanted a smoke and felt so freaking tired. My husband came home from work and was like ... what is wrong with you? I told him that I didn't put my patch on. He went and got a patch, smacked it on my leg ... and I am feeling better ... LOL!
Sorry I didn't see this thread sooner.
