Cuddles, N2K, SweatPea, Healer, NascarFan, Luna, Golferman, Riverdale, Brenna, ItsIronic, Hummy, ladybugg and carpepax - thank you all so much! :) You know what? You guys are all awesome! My thanks to all of you, for your posts, support, wisdom and encouragement. I tell you, the day I found this place is the day my future changed for the better. I still remember that night, too, sitting on my couch in my livingroom, surfing the internet on my laptop looking for advice on quitting tobacco. I found some anti-tobacco sites with some really disturbing images, some good advice, and I found this place. So, thank you again. To the support specialists - my thanks go out to all of you as well. Your support and dedication are appreciated more than you may know. carpepax - Well, to be honest, I still haven't made an "official" decision on a reward, but I think a new Coleman family size 2-room tent for camping this summer sounds like a great idea! I haven't figured out how to put a picture in my posts yet or I'd include a pic. of the one I'm thinking of for kicks and giggles. ;p Infinite My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/21/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 368 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,740 Amount Saved: $404.8 Life Gained: Days: 47 Hrs: 15 Mins: 51 Seconds: 51

Shevie, Shelly, Josie, Sunshine, Lady and Pam, thank you all so much for your kind words! :) Thank you, Shevie, for starting my one-year-anniversary thread! You da' man, Shev! Throwing in the lyrics to "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake was a nice touch. ;) Looking back, I can hardly believe that it was one year ago to the day that I posted on this site that I was going to quit using tobacco. I don't know if I really believed myself even as I was typing it, but, I made it! Woohoo!!! :) A rough, bumpy road full of pot holes, especially just out of the starting gate, but it does smooth out. I'm pleased to think that I may have inspired someone else to quit, or to keep trying in their existing quit, and as I've mentioned many times before, I could have never done it on my own, without all of the help I received from you guys, and this web site. Not to mention the fact that we were able to contribute to rising stock value of sunflower seeds! LOL I look forward to congratulating all of you, as well, when you cross that one-year milestone! One year ago today, Infinite_D quit smokeless tobacco after 13 years. He had a bit of a rough start, annoyed a Copenhagen rep, put up with his dipping/chewing coworkers teasing and tempting him, kept one young man from starting, and finally led his manager into his own quit. It's all chronicled in his "Here I go again" thread in the Chewers and Dippers Corner. A great read of dedication and committment to quitting tobacco of any kind. Congratulations, Infinite, my friend. Here I Go Again by Whitesnake No, I don't know where I'm going But, I sure know where I've been Hanging on the promises In songs of yesterday An' I've made up my mind, I ain't wasting no more time Tho' I keep searching for an answer, I never seem to find what I'm looking for Oh Lord, I pray You give me strength to carry on, 'Cos I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams An' here I go again on my own Goin' down the only road I've ever known, Like a drifter I was born to walk alone An' I've made up my mind I ain't wasting no more time I'm just another heart in need of rescue, Waiting on love's sweet charity An' I'm gonna hold on For the rest of my days, 'Cos I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams An' here I go again on my own Goin' down the only road I've ever known, Like a drifter I was born to walk alone An' I've made up my mind I ain't wasting no more time But, here I go again, Here I go again, Here I go again, Here I go again oooh baby oooh yeah 'Cos I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams An' here I go again on my own Goin' down the only road I've ever known, Like a drifter I was born to walk alone An' I've made up my mind, I ain't wasting no more time An' here I go again on my own Goin' down the only road I've ever known, Like a drifter I was born to walk alone 'Cos I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams An' here I go again on my own Goin' down the only road I've ever known, I'm really proud of you, Infinite. Keep up the good quit. :) Shevie
