A Far To Complacent Attitude Toward Quitting.....

18 years ago 0 24 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
My dear Pen, I just dropped in as I had a few minutes your as cocky as ever in more ways than one I see. :p To say, I find it tolerable to be happy with my quit! Only shows just how complacent we do become as the days pass, which is a reward in itself. Im sure you are aware Lindsey was referring to the repeated posts sighting lack of confidence and that same ability to be so cocky. I too am very boastful of my almost 4 years quit, but I didnt get here without education, preparation and time. Jess, Congratulations on the great quit! I too was too stubborn to slip, but one thing I honestly believe now is that that it takes a full year to pass that newbie stage. You really have to live life as a non-smoker to understand what the quit is all about. As you celebrate holidays, birthdays, any special occasion, family gatherings with happiness and sadness your quit grows and you become more prepared to face the next challenge, your coping skills will become stronger and strong with each and everyday you remain quit. Enjoy the ride! Lin :) Three years, ten months, one week, four days, 22 hours, 26 minutes and 30 seconds. 28278 cigarettes not smoked, saving $5,655.74. Life saved: 14 weeks, 4 hours, 30 minutes.
