Stu, After a couple of months quit it wasn't some magic act that caused those smokes to appear in your hand. Or that second pack. You don't know exactly how it happened??? Come on. Ok. I'll shut up here because I could really say some things that probably wouldn't exactly flatter you. Quits don't just fall out of the sky. People work at them. They live them. They put every ounce of energy into them. Get quit and work on those blackouts you seem to be having. Best wishes. [b][color=Purple]Be Strong. Be Smart. Cigarettes Not Smoked

So what's the deal, Stu? I can believe you (as Joe put it) blacked out and had a few puffs, but I find it very hard to understand how you finished one cig, let alone two packs. It seems to me that those first puffs would be so terrible they would shock you back to reality. Even if that didn't happen, I'm surprised it took you two packs to come to your senses. That's twice you had to walk into a store, ask for a pack of cigarettes, take the money out of your pocket, open the pack, take one out, put it in your mouth, light the match or lighter, put the flame to the cig, and inhale. If you refused to do any one of those steps, you would not have smoked. Write down the reasons for quitting on a piece of paper and wrap your money and credit/debit cards in it. Always keep them wrapped up, no matter how annoying it is. On the other side of the reasons, in big bold letters, write "DO NOT SELL ME CIGARETTES". Cover the entire backside with that phrase. That way you'll have to pull it out and unwrap your money/cards everytime you buy something. It'll be a pain in the butt, but if it keeps you quit... Ouch. That's got to hurt. Sorry you listened to the Nicodemon. He got you. Now, Brush yourself off and start again. I think you should figure out exactly what happened though, so it doesn't happen again. I know you can do it. It's a choice! When we take antibiotics, they always say to take the full round even if you start feeling better. Maybe what you're doing Stu is stopping the quit when you start feeling better. Take the Docs advice....take alllll of your medicine. We really CAN do this! Stu, sorry to add more blows to the beating, but Lady's right. You know exactly what happened. You went into the store, took out your money and bought a pack and then you went outside and lit up. There's no mystery there. You know what you have to do...don't buy any and don't light any. You can't smoke and be a non-smoker. Stubow, We are always here for support and you have to want this quit. This was obviously more than a slip and you need to pinpoint why you started back again, in order to avoid this later. Get rid of everything and let's start fresh and be determined, we can help! Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
