Sorry that you're not feeling 100%. I don't know if this will help but about 2 weeks ago, I woke up with a mild cold, but with the sore throat from hell. I read somwhere (could have been here!) that when you smoke, your body produces excess mucus to protect itself.
So when you body gets used to its smokeless state, it 'dries up'.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but your mentality sounds a little similar to mine; I'm not saying that you're a hypochondriac, but you've just done the most positive thing in your life (healthwise), but you seem worried that you may have acted too late(?)
I'm not a doctor (or even a vet), but I'm sure you'll be fine!
