Congratulations Rosie on making it through a tough time. That nicodemon will use every trick in his stinky, filthy and disgusting book to get you to cave. Glad you resisted. You are that much stronger now and that much more prepared to handle the cravings the next time he comes along. Crave the Quit! redrosie... I'm not sure why it happens either but when you get your degree... Dr. redrosie PhD... let us know lol One thing I do know for sure, those mental tricks come and go for a little while...so when one pops up... just hang on. It usually goes on by. I rarely have times like that now. You're doing such a great job...almost halfway to the beach. You'll love it there, everyone looks awesome in their cyber swimwear ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/2/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 380 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,615 Amount Saved: $1356.6 Life Gained: Days: 40 Hrs: 7 Mins: 34 Seconds: 37

Hi redrosie! I've been more of a lurker than a talker for the last few months. I used to be in here practically 24/7. Although my final quit date was in March, I've been a member since January. Each generation (generations are much shorter in here...a month or two) of quitters has several that are very involved in helping and encouraging everyone else, partly for the desire to help and because that's what works to help themselves. You are one of those and you are much appreciated. Don't ever doubt that! ~huggs~ I look forward to watching you grow.
