Hi, Neek. Congrats on your 2 weeks quit. Awesome! :) Have you rewarded yourself for your accomplishment? Done something you like to do or gotten something for yourself that you want/like, just for you because you've made it 14 days up this mountain? Maybe that's what's missing. You need to pat yourself on your back and strut just for your own enjoyment. You've certainly earned it! :) Shevie My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 240 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,813 Amount Saved: $912 Life Gained: Days: 44 Hrs: 20 Mins: 39 Seconds: 37

Hi Neek, look up all you can on "Blah Week"...it really does exist, and it's about where you are...i felt the same way around the same time...i STILL get thoughts like "well, i've proved i can quit when i want to, so why don't i just smoke again for a couple more weeks", but it's just the junky in me talking. And there IS a junky in me! And if he's fed, he gains power, and if he gains power, he will take over the real me... Don't give in!! Blah week is a really good time for an awesome reward. This is the hardest thing you will ever do, and you need something to counteract the blahs. How about a hot air balloon ride, a raft trip, a massage, a lobster dinner. SPLURGE and CELEBRATE. The Neek: Hang in there. You have reach a point in your quit that most of us went thru.....Its known as the 2 to 3 week blahs!!!!! The newness of quitting is no longer new and you are just tired of fighting....Just tie a knot in the rope and hang on tight. This will not last long.....This lack of positive attitude will disappear and you will come back even stronger than ever....Ride it out! All along the way there will be times of ups and downs. I promise the "ups" far out weigh the "downs" Someone once said this to me....I had much rather be a non smoker with an occational desire to smoke than a smoker with a consistant desire to quit!!!!!!!! Stay Strong Neek.....It is so worth all the pain!! 2 weeks is Awesome!!!
