Fish- I don't have a lot to say that may be helpful to you, but want you to know that I will be thinking about you and saying a little prayer for you. I do encourage you to see your doctor if everything continues to seem "dark." There is help, and nothing wrong with that! In addition, as you know, your body and mind do all kinds of crazy things when you quit smoking, so keep that in mind, and stay here with us!! HI TODD and congratulations on your great quit. Quitting can be a real drag some days especially when things seem to be going wrong. Those are the times that we used cigarettes as a crutch and here we are with a broken heart and no crutches!!!!! But cigarettes or no----the sun will rise tomorrow and perhaps it will shine on you because it won't be blocked with the smoke. Good luck friend and keep up the good work. hey todd, I can't help with the heart...other than give it time. As far as smoking...congrats on making it thus far especially with the emotional turmoil going on. Do yourself a favor, hon...reward yourself for your 30 days. One month is awesome! and something to be celebrated. You need to rewire your brain to think of not smoking as good thing. Make Saturday "do something special for Todd day"! It doesn't matter if it's just something you like to do or if it's something you spend your savings on! The only catch is...it has to be something that brings a smile to your face! Oh...and check out the depression site. There's alot to be learned ther, too. Talk to your doc is continues much longer.
