I Have to Vent

Lady, I am so sorry you are going through a tough time right now. Hang tight my friend. The light really is at the end of the tunnel. We are always here for you to vent, you know that! Take care and take time for only YOU and no one else. Take Care, Melanie __________________ The SSC Support Team

Lady I hear you and I totally relate...I used to think there were 2 kinds of people: the ones who comes to us for advice, the ones who need a shoulder to lean on when everything in their lives go wrong, the ones who need someone to listen and always lend an ear because let's face it, that's some of our best work, we are also there to pick up the pieces for everyone else except ourselves and 2-us. I don't think that way anymore because of what I have seen in my life just this year. So what happens when we need to vent and we need to be the strong ones at the same time? We look around and it's just us and GOD. Noone else is there, but GOD. So, That is who I have always turned to in those times, and the good thing about GOD is that you can say ANYTHING and He will listen and listen and keep listening, and you can vent all you want and will always be in good hands. You will let it out and cry and scream and throw some fists in the air and God is still there and has not gone anywhere. Anytime you need God, God is always there. that is why we are never truly alone. God is always there, no matter what. So let the others rant and rave, and let everyone else fall to pieces. You cannot help them if you are joining them. But now there is one other option. You can come here and vent and rant and rave and scream and cry and we will lsiten and will always be there for you :) I hope this helps you in some way, I just felt to share this from my heart, I don't know how solid the advice is, but I do understand where you are coming from. Bless your heart! Stay strong! Hi Lady, I've thought about how I want to answer you... you've been so helpful to me that I really wanted to have a profound brainstorm before answering you here... apparently that's not happening so I'll just tell you what I think. First, thank you for caring so much about so many people that you don't even know. If you are willing to put so much of your time and energy into helping people you've never met I can only imagine how much energy you have poured into your family and loved ones. Maybe the best thing to do right now is to give yourself a break where ever it is possible in your life. You've got sooooo many challenges going on in your life at one time. If there isn't any way to change the support system at home so that you're feeling more appreciated than maybe you can just figure out a way to cut yourself a little slack... allow for the fact that you're juggling more than most people can handle and see if there are areas that you can allow yourself to slide in until you're in a less hectic time of your life. Take care of yourself... maybe even put yourself first once in a while. Hi Lady, I hope today is a better day for you! You have been such a positive figure for me and others. We're all praying for you. I guess the Lord gives us bad days, so we can and do appreciate the good days more. I'm sorry you were feeling so upset today. It usually seems like a smooth ride for a while, and then, when you are soooo tired and just wiped out, all hell breaks loose. I'm glad you can rest now. Take care of yourself. Hi Lady, butterfly swimmer said it all... So - when and what was your last reward? ...and your next one? Sounds like it's time to take special and gentle care of Lady... You took care of yourself by coming here and venting - good for you. Vent away - and keep venting. We have strong, caring shoulders here, friend. Breathe, in out Breathe, in out Email somebody (you have my email) IM someone (oh, and you have that too :) Reach out - just like you did here - someone will always be there for you. In fact, I have been in a bit of a quiet, gray slump - and you gave me the wonderful opportunity to come out of it and lend a heart and a hand - thank you, Lady. A flower for you Healer My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 44 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,544 Amount Saved: $204.6 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 17 Mins: 27 Seconds: 17

And all the people you have helped. Myself for one. you have always responed to my posts with great advice and it is deeply appreciated. God Bless and keep up the good work. VENT LADY, VENT, GET ALL THAT ANGER OUT. Do you ever feel as though you are being taken advantage of????? In just a few more weeks you won't have the same schedule that you have now. Lady, I am beginning to learn how to say NO, that was not in my vocabulary not long ago. When was your last reward?? I don't do it often enough, but when I do think of it, it really helps.... Hope you are having a better day today......Sorry I am late coming in on your post. Blessings and love sent your way, SUNSHINE My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 101 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,727 Amount Saved: $353.5 Life Gained: Days: 14 Hrs: 14 Mins: 45 Seconds: 44

Lady: You have been there for so many of us, my self included. Take some time for yourself. I am probably the last one to give advice but I know the feelings of S*** that you are going through. You can't be everything to everyone all the time. Take some time and reflect on what you have accomplished and what a wonderful person you are. As was stated above, Reward yourself for being the kind of person that you are.
