This is to all of you. I leave work in a couple of minutes to go home and smoke my brains out because tomorrow is the first day of my new life as a non-smoker. I've been reading on this site alot today and find it amazing how many people there are out there that will support me through this journey. Wow, this is hard and it's only my first day, I have this terrible taste in my mouth probably from not opening it to smoke today. Ha Ha. I have a frog in my throat and can't seem to get it out. I don't feel very social and that is not like me, I know I'm always friendly and today I really don't want any friends I feel like going to bed and getting under the covers and staying there until this is over.

I will be looking soon too! But the ones I always wanted before (the ones in church that seemed so nice) wouldn't have had a thing to do with me when I was smoking. I still don't know if they will or not because I have not tryed... I am still raising kids (my youngest is only 13) so I have a lot of years before I can put any time into that. By then, I certainly wouldn't have anything to do with someone who smokes any more that they (the non smokers) would have anything to do with me when I smoked. Hi all! It's funny, but also a very serious consideration. I, too, will be looking for a partner once I'm fully confident that I won't ever pick up another cigarette. There is no way I would consider a smoker. Maybe it will rule out some great possibilities, but those possibilities seem much less great if you have to figure smoking into the equation. No Thank you.
