AAAAAAMMMMMEEEEENNNNN!!!! My husband stinx too. He just walks through the house and stink it up. I gripe at him all the time about it but it really doesn't make matters any better. I guess I will become best friends with the febreeze as well!!!! At least we don't stink! Hi hear ya! Same thing happened to me the other day at work. My boss smokes in the office even though it is not allowed here anymore. He is always spraying glade or whatever thinking no one will smell the smoke. After the glade wears off it smells like an ashtray in the office. I'm glad I am an exsmoker that thinks it stinks. Anyway I told him that someone in the building is going to come in there and be able to smell that someone has been smoking in there. He said to me there is nothing worse than an ex smoker. I told him that I did'nt care if he smoked. I was only letting him know that when the spray wore off it stunk in there. I know he can't smell it just like I never could when I smoked. Hi Girls, My hubby smokes too and he is sure that I have become on of those ex smokers. Heaven forbid if I were to ask him to wash his hands because they stink. He is pretty good smoking in the garage and at night while watching TV he goes for hours with out smoking not bad for a chain smoker. Good for all of us sticking to our quits and not letting smoking hubbys get the best of us. And you too Redrosie ;) Polly My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/2/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 65 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,771 Amount Saved: $240.5 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 9 Mins: 13 Seconds: 3

Janet and Lady living with a smoking spouse is only as hard as you make it. BJ could have it worse her husband could be smoking all over the house stinking the whole thing up, no it is mostly limited to one room. We can only pray that our spouses make the same choice we did when we quit and the great thing about that is we can provide some guidance for them. :) Polly My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/2/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 65 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,773 Amount Saved: $240.5 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 9 Mins: 25 Seconds: 57

He smokes out in the garage we never smoked in this house. He is not even allowed to walk thru the house with a lit cigarette he has tried. And I do pray ever day that he will choose to quit I know I can't make him. Hhahaha... an ultimatum is an ultimatum not "marital expectatations"! It think "marital expectatations" come in the beginning of the marriage not years into it. Golferman are you married? Me tolerating my hubby smoking in one room of my house doesn't mean i'm silently encouraging him to smoke, the addiction is encouraging him to smoke. He has to be ready to quit. The more i complain the worse it'll be. I'm hoping if i'm patient and just sit back and wait he'll come around on his own. Say what you want but NO MAN WANTS TO BE TOLD WHAT TO DO BY HIS WIFE. Hey RedRosie! Glad to see your hanging in there, i was wondering about you. I'm not sure about hubby quitting. I honestly don't think he's ready. I suggested this site to him and he said thats a female thing, even though i told him men were on here too. I just leave the issue alone which is best otherwise he'll rebel. Well we have day 70 coming up soon...horray for us!!!
