Hey Stoppin Glad you are doing better today. Tiramasu? Wish I had some of that. It's great that you post here whatever you are feeling. We've all done it. Look at how many post I have and you can see that I pretty much use to be here all the time early in my quit. It was and still is a safe place to be. You are among others who are doing the same as you. Keep your quit and keep up your posts. vicki just 1 puff away from 2 packs a day My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/17/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 111 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,453 Amount Saved: $777 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 3 Mins: 24 Seconds: 14

Very good post and so true. Many times we analyze something to the point of ridiculous. It is simple. You smoke or you don't. All the other stuff around it is just our personal garbage that we add to the mix. The addiction part is real of course, but like all addictions, we have to face it and be stronger than it is. This is where the ssc comes in. So many here to help us when we do feel vulnerable. Keep the quit. vicki just 1 puff away from 2 packs a day My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/17/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 111 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,450 Amount Saved: $777 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 3 Mins: 11 Seconds: 0

Ok, I see that those of you that responded to Joe's post have "like, forever on your quitmeters"! Well, I found the darn key yesterday as I tripped over the thing on my way to grab another kleenex. The tears came in full force, all day long. My eyes were swollen, red, and my Mom said I looked like I had the flu. Think about something else you say??? I read and posted here, took a shower and put smelly stuff on, hubby took me to run errands, came home and made peanut clusters and Tiramasu, watched chick flicks, made bbq ribs for dinner. Finally, literally, about 8pm the tears stopped. You know why I was crying all day after doing so well for so many days? Because I needed to. Today I feel great already! Maybe us newbies get on here and post all of these crappy feelings because it Just Feels Good to do it. Heck, what do I know...I just quit! But woo hoo look at those numbers!
