Hi Kyle300,

Welcome to the group and thanks for posting!

First of all, good for you for coming here and seeking the help you need. This takes strength and courage - right now it can feel hard to do anything; yet, you are pushing yourself to take control of this. This strength is so important as it will serve you in finding relief.

How far are you along in the program?  It might be helpful for you to create a schedule for yourself complete with a rewards plan to reward yourself after completing sessions and reaching goals. Take your time with each section and ensure you complete the homework. Do about a week of homework before moving to the next session.

Looking forward to reading more from you!

I just started this program a couple of weeks ago. I am a 42yr old male. I have been dealing with depression for years. Doctors just prescribed antidepressants and sent me on my way. About 6 months ago, I ended up in the hospital with chest pains etc. Was referred to a Psychiatrist for the first time. Diagnosed with severe depression and GAD. Started on new medication. No councelling or anything. I guess its not available where I live. Had a major life upset two months ago, and am hopeing to get some coping help from this program. Still manageing to make it to work everyday, but not really functioning in any capacity.
