Hi Allie,

Take a look at the section "Why you should participate", there is some good information there.  You may also take a look at Evolution Health's corporate site.  In the solutions>community section we discuss our method of maintaining a support group.  We also have support groups/programs in the areas of healthy weight, alcohol reduction, panic and smoking cessation.  Posting this discussion in the Panic Center might be helpful also.

Members, how has the Depression Center support group benefitted you?

Hi
I am a health care worker currently enrolled in a course. A part of this course is to take part in a community support group. I find the internet community interesting and would like to know more about the benefits of this mode of support. Some of the obvious benefits are access, privacy, availability. I would appreciate hearing your views on the benefits.
Thank You
