Hello Vincenza. Thank you for sharing with us the bennefits of dark chocolate. Next time I go to a market I will buy and try dark chocolat (but only 100 mg a day, mmmmmm).

Do you know if one eat 100mg of dark chocholate each day there will be any interaction with the anti-depressants (medicine)?

Did you know that dark chocolate,  that contains 70% or higher cocoa, has many health benefits?!

Dark chocolate contains polyphenols which work as antioxidants in the body.
Antioxidants protect the body from ageing and helps prevent heart disease.  The flavonoid content in dark chocolate also helps  reduce blood pressure!

In addition to its heart benefits, dark chocolate tastes good(!);  stimulates the production of endorphins which give a feeling of pleasure;  and contains serotonin, therefore helps as an anti-depressant!

The key is balancing the calories!  All you need is 100 grams (~3.5 ounces) a day to receive the health benefits mentioned above - without increasing your waist size.

Treat yourself to a little dark chocolate this weekend!
