Hi all, so it was a few weeks ago that I mentioned I would say something to my mom and sister, it took some time to get up the courage, but this weekend we had a family get together, and when we were all doing the dishes in the kitchen I just blurted it out: I'm depressed. I think it took them a few minutes or maybe seconds (but it felt lke minutes) to realize what I just said but in the end they both hugged me and my mom said I knew something wasn't quite right...I guess I'm bad at hiding things.
Anyways, in the end, they both promised dthey wouldn't tel anyone else in the family since I'm not ready for that, and they said they would make more of an effort to keep in touch.
