Hello! It sounds like you have gone through so much recently. It is great that you have your boyfriend to support you while things are so tough. I hope things start looking up for you soon.

Hello depressed again and welcome to the boards. Thank you for sharing your story with other members here. Soon other members will also be along to share their own experience and introduce themselves.

While you are here, take some time to navigate the site and read the sessions available here. They are designed to be completed weekly while you reflect on the homework and the information provided. Hopefully you find these helpful in your own journey.

By the sounds of it, you have experienced some pretty difficult barriers in your life as of late. However, you have also reached out to others and that shows you are motivated and determined to continue on with your journey. It also sounds like you have a strong support system with your boyfriend. This can be incredibly important as you begin to learn more about yourself and how to cope successfully.

If you think about the changes you would like to make in your life, what do these changes look like? How can they be broken down into more short or long-term goals? As you reflect on these goals, you will also begin to learn what you can do in your day-to-day activities to help you succeed.

Stay close to the boards and let us know how you are doing. We are here to help!

41 year old female, mother of 3.......living with my boyfriend of 6 years. I came here in hopes of finding a new way to deal with my depression. My history of "dealing" was to turn off all emotions, then nobody gets hurt :) (I don't mean I would hurt anyone or myself)  Well, my boyfriend, God Bless him, has brought me out of the darkness and taught me, that no matter what comes our way in life, he is here for me. I thank God everyday for him. For obvious reasons, my "dealing" was not working out too well, it has for years worked to my advantage, no emotions, no feelings and nothing could hurt me. Life has dealt some unpleasant blows as of late, I lost my job in September, (well, I quit after not being paid for 3 weeks, had to sue for my wages, which I received a judgement, but still no $$$$) I started my own business doing what I was doing for my previous employer, they filed a lawsuit against me stating I "stole" everything from them. It's still in litigation, $10,000 later to my attorney, and still jumping thru hoops. My new business (operated for 9 months) has failed, thanks to the continious litigation and BS from my previous employer. Life sucks!!!!!! Seems there is no way out.....
