I spent the rest of the afternoon with a really nice book.
Mercedy Lackey Has a series of fantasy fiction that is a retelling of fairy tales (the 500 Kingdoms).
I am reading the Snow Queen.

oh I'm sorry wildcat.

I'm sure your boss will understand.  Please, please, realize though that probably many women felt just like you during the exam.  Its sad really.  Maybe you should talk to someone at the office where you had the test and tell them about your bad experience.  It is not right that this lady was so hard on you.

Try to stay strong!  Don't let one insensitive person get to you.  You are loved and we're glad you went to get the test.  Your health is number one.

AND hey its over!! woohoo celebrate!  Your done.  You don't have to go for awhile. One less thing to worry about!  Give yourself a nice reward!  Just use today to relax you deserve it!

I called my boss crying to tell her that I would not be in - even if I promised to be there.
And I ran home to hide.

That's no fun wildcat

Mammograms are awful and i am so sorry that women was so awful. It was not your fault!  Don't feel dumb or dense!  The lady should have known mammograms are terrible and she should have been more understanding.

Plan something nice for yourself today and try not to think about it.  Good for you for going and looking out for yourself.  You should feel proud and be glad its done!

I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

hi ladies,

I went for my first routein mamography today.  And it will be a cold snowy day in the Christian H*** before the next one!
it was awful.
This little woman hrumped and hawed and sighed the whole time pushing and crushing my volumnous body in her machine for 4 x-rays.  She got upset when I asked to move my feet because I felt unbalanced, when I accidently looked down twice, when I held the machine once, and when I moved my right arm pit a cm because it hurt too much....

I did not mean to be dumb  or dense  or even stupid .  I tried to be still and listen I really did .  I knew it hurt, but not that much !!!

Now I feel like an idiot who cannot take simple instuctions...  I feel dirty and smelly after all that mouth breathing and turning away... I feel like a huge beached whale after all the effort and the hemming and hawwing .

I need a shower and a long soak in some strong soapsss.
