I think it is great your therapist will help check triggers with you. It is a good step to take. That way you can take better care of yourself :) Please keep us posted!

so like me ... you have to lower the intensity of the good morning  to savour it till lunch.  then take a power nap (20 minutes) and up-at-em again.
 
I spent 6 months like this when I came back to work after my last non-funtional bout of depression (non-functional meaning hiding and crying under my couette for 3 months).

I agree. fatigue, "outside" stress, mood, can all trigger that "demon" to return.  Just half hour ago, I felt on top of the world. had a good morning, now I'm exhausted and starting to crash and feel not so good.  I should be happy and feeling good because there is some hope for some positive changes that I can implement.  We all need something to be happy about, but sometimes those happy things can "hit us in the face" and we still dont see it.  We cant see the forest for the trees!
 
As a teen, I used to ride my bike for hours on end on the weekend, or sometimes just after school.  It became an escape for me from reality.  Ha, I remember the first time out on my bike after moving to the "new" house, been there only maybe a week.  Still feeling weak from the bug, (I lost 10 - 12 lbs most of it muscle)  I took off like a bat out of ****&.  I turned a couple of corners and stopped dead!!!!!  I was so totally lost, confused. and to top it off, I was toooo tired to trace my way back the way I came, and I had only gone 3 blocks.  I stood there for a few minutes trying to figure out what to do, too embarrassed to knock on someones door and ask them how to get back home.   I decided to continue on slowly as I was now tired, and try and get back home by continuing on.    I did get back home, put my bike away, and went and "crashed" physically exhausted.  I had ridden maybe 5 blocks, half of which was downhill, and really only one block uphill, which I walked the bike up.  
 
I look back on that and can laugh but also realize just how sick I had been, but the laugh is needed.

for my moods ... cause and effect are important ... it is to remind me that sometimes me illness works on its own schedual. I have no control and I am not crazy.  I do have to monitor, adapt and manage my illness.  So we were looking at triggers!
 
stress, sleep, physical condition, mental condition,  and how I use the CBT!!! daily ,

I've found they are so closely intertwined it is not possible to discern cause and effect but just to learn to roll with the punches.  I also don't think it is significant.  If it is an emotional/stress caused issue or the health issue exacerbates the emotions/stress.  Either way, we have to deal with both!!!!!  However, getting to the bottom of the physical issue and/or identification of one irregardless of the cause, is imperative to maintaining emotions/stress.   I give up trying to figure cause and effect.  I hope (I mean I really try not to do this anymore).

Physiological events can have a much larger impact on our emotions and feelings than we realize sometimes. What do you think of this news from your psychologist? Do you identify with what she said to you?

When I started with my psychologist the littlest mention of an emotion sent me into a sea of tears.  Pride, grief, joy, and heartbreak all began a waterfall.  I had no boundery. i had no control over the intensity of  the emotional reactions.
 
In my day to day life I repressed everything and just put on the right mask for the situation. And when I was not sure ... i would be "thoughtful".  It was not really living but survival and it was a mess especially when I was exhausted with my moods.  When those would shift I was in trouble. and I think that was when I would hit the bottom and head towards depressions...
 
So today... the psychologist  thinks that I am plugging events into my moods to be able to rationalize and justify then.  also to understand what is going on.  She believes there is a physical reason for the exhaustion and the irritability.  I have a bit of and acid thing that causes discomfort 2 or three days a month .... well since Nov it has been two or three weeks a month and it has caused a very loose (watery) stool.  That with the sore lower back since Dec and the exhaustion I might be at the start of a vitamine deficiency.  She asked me (welll gave me permission to see the doctor!) to talk about B12.
