Wildcat,
I can remember my stepson having to be my shadow. It was a treat
to go to a friends and shut the door for a change. When he got to the point of realizing the difference between his privates and mine
I stopped being so open about the bathroom door. And stopped bathing with him. I used to set him up with a book, a treat, a distraction: and then slip off. He would try to open the door, peek under the door, chatter at me. The panic stuff your dealing with is unfamiliar to me. The thought of that makes me take a deeeeeep breath.
I'm not sure why, I do the same rush-rush stuff in many avenues,
but really notice it with the bathroom. Hurry hurry hurry.....
I do try to slow down, listen to the birds, play in the flower beds.
I think it's waitress syndrome.
hi paisley.
I am not allowed to go to the bathroom alone in this house... My daughter is 5 and as soon as I get up she follows me everywhere. If I lock the door she has a hysterical fit and tries to break down the door ...
If the water runs my 10 yr old son runs to the bathroom...
I get no peace. do you?
It's a bathroom issue: I never really sit and fully empty out my bladder. Bing, bang, hurry up and out of the bathroom. I am up and off the seat mid-stream. Yanking up my drawers, washing my hands..
Maybe it's because I was a waitress for ever.
