Hi Pixie... make this site your new hobby. Focus on the CBT programme here and work it as much as you can... don't be afraid to stick with the meds if they are helping you keep your head in a reasonable space...

welcome pixie,
I also am a mom of youngsters (5 and 10) and work full time. So already I can sympathise with the havoc that depression can cause.
welcome to the gang...
Hi Pixie, and welcome!
You have a lot on your plate, by the sound of it. Single working parent is a tough job at the best of times -- so many demands and it's really hard to find even a second to do something nice for yourself. My girls are 12 & 14 now, so I'm starting to regain time for me, but I've long ago forgotten what it's like even to go to the bathroom with the door closed.
You've come to a good place. As Sylvie said, keep going on the program and post here whenever you like. The combined wisdom of this group is wonderful -- I'd be surprised if there's a situation or issue that at least one of us hasn't experienced. And sharing your experiences helps us all, so again, welcome!
Welcome pixiep,
It's very nice to have you join us! Continue working through the program, ask questions and post often. We're here to help you through your journey!

Hello,
I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Pixie, 29, mom to 3 young kids and full time employee. I just finished the first week in the 16 week course. I suffer from anxiety, OCD and depression. I take paxil which has helped me so much in the last few weeks and I am looking forward to getting off medication and learning ways to deal with everything. :)
