Eskalith CR/Lithium

20 years ago 0 5 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I'm currently taking Wellbutrin and Provigil for depression. I have a constant dysthymia (low-grade depression) mixed with the occasional bout of deep depression. (I'm in one of those now.) My doc wants to add Eskalith CR, a form of Lithium. I am definitely not bi-polar but he says this might help stabilize my moods, anyway. For some reason, the Lithium scares me. It seems that I've heard bad things about it in the past but I can't really say for sure. Anybody had any experience with Eskalith/Lithium that you'd like to share? Thanks!
