My doctor took me off my meds

I had some pretty weird dreams over the past week without my meds, and today after having a shower, I almost fainted and felt like being sick. I had to get my husband to help me dry off, and get me upstairs to bed. Boy that was scary, but it passed. I just wanted to lie down on the bathroom floor and stay there. I slept more, and did a few things, and watched a movie, and now here I am typing. I am surviving, but really sick of catching colds especially at this time of the year!

Where I live now, if I get a cold which I have right now, they take you off your meds, and give you cold meds until you are better. My question is, what is going to happen in the time being? I am afraid I will get side effects. I hate this. And I hate having a cold during our summer vacation time...
