Meditation should work quite well as it is the opposite of worry and since everything recycles to memory this is a good way to bury negatives. I think you have me convinced to try again, it has been a while. A very long while.

Hello,
I'm an oldie of this site but came by to stop by and noticed this thread. I wanted to mention that I started a meditation class lately and I don't know if it's the meditation working or my feelings of accomplishments for attending a class but I feel so great after every class. I never really understood meditation but my teacher guides us to just be (and that there's really nothing to understand, haha) and I feel so relaxed. My friend also told me that she found an app for meditation and did it for awhile and now she's able to talk to people and not be shy or anxious about speaking or holding a conversation. I'm planning to continue with this class so I'll update how it goes.

Hi Freed,

It's great to hear it's working out for you! Buddhism is such a beautiful way of life, and it seems everyone who practices it are so wise and have a great understanding of our world.

Are you able to mention the name of the book on this site (it's not as though you're selling it yourself)?

Hey

Made a big success i want to share with u guys.

I was suffering several years from panic and fear but i found a way to get over this. I bought me a pretty good book about Meditation.  The author is a Buddhistic monk and he was suffering hia first 14 years of live because of panic attacks and fear. He tells his story how he got rid of this with Meditation and it worked. So i started so meditate and believe me. After 4 or 5 Meditations it was away. For about half an year i live without panic attacks and stuff like that. I just enjoy my live and it was relative easy.

The book is soo damn good. But maybe some of you have the opportunity to go into a Meditation center or something like that.
In the Meditation you just look qt ur emotion without give them power. So at one point u will check that Emotion s are just there, but dont believe them :)
