Hello

Hi Tankgirl, Don't set yourself up with what if questions. Go at it with a positive attitude that you can quit period!!! You know if you want it bad enough you can do it with your strength and our help. you'll be amazed at how much more powerful you are than a stick with a filter and white wrapping. Don't stray too far from this site and post when your struggling. You'll see how many people will come to your rescue and help out!! They were there for me and even though I'm a tough gal I couldn't have done it without the support of people who I now consider my life giving friends!! Old New Guy

Hey Bear, I'm glad to see you didn't celebrate too much on your 60 day anniversary. I'm not too sure I like this new system they set up here with everything backwards. I had a rough couple of days and still ready to put a foot up my daughters rear!! Always pushing her luck. I can't get my Instant messenger to work or I am doing something wrong?? off and running

Hi Princess, I quit early myself weeks before I was suppose to and it did feel horrible. I know what your feeling all too well but keep in mind it will pass. I was quite moody and irratable for about 2 days and then it was as if I never smoked. You have an impressive quit there and after these couple of days pass you'll feel even stronger about your quit!! Unhooked Your also doing great on your quit and attitude on getting past hell week congratulations to both of you!! Like A Bear With A Sore Head!!!!!!

Daviscup Hang in there your doing great!! I give you alot of credit maintaining a strong quit with Mom smoking around you. the moodiness will pass and it does get better. I still get moody but I blame it on PMS 24 hours a days seven days a week and a teenager on top of that LOL. Ok keep in mind your almost through hell week and perhaps if you did let her know you quit she might be more supportive than you think. She may even want to quit as well and if not you are an example that quitting can be done. Stay strong and post as often as you need. Get some sleep if it'll help you feel better or do something for yourself to put you in a better frame of mind. Your doing so well keep up the quit!! Another Patch Question...

Hey Jon Why take the chance??? I was the most nastiest person for 2 days after quitting the patch about 6 weeks before I should have. I was playing roulette with my quit and wish I hadn't. I forgot to put the patch on when I left for work and thought I would give it a try. I'm ok now but I regretted that foolish move. I didn't smoke but I was not fun to be around and I felt as if I was new to quitting and cold turkey. If you could stay on for a little while longer you'll appreciate it. I know what it feels like to want to get the nicotine out of your system and done and over with, but are you stronger than the intense desire to smoke you will have when you stop the patch??? I say this because the ones who worked the program on the patch as prescribed did not have the intense withdrawal I went through stopping early. what ever you do don't put your quit at risk and keep a patch around in case you need it. Stay close and ask for help if you need it. You have been there for a great many of us and I for one am here for you no matter what you decide!!!!
