Sharp pain in the head

jenron, First of all welcome to the site, You have come to the right place! Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. You best advice is to go to a doctor to see what the pain situation entails. Your anxiety level will increase more if you wonder all day what could it be! Check with your doctor first and put your mind at ease. Hope this helps, Josie This message was edited by Josie, Support Specialist on 6/17/2004 @ 10:07:38 AM

Shallow Breathing & Yawning

Chanda, Back up a bit and try to relax yourself completely. Reading, warm baths, soothing music etc. Once your body is relaxed it may be easier to work on your breathing techniques. Try pilates and yoga. Directly at the gym in exercise or indirectly through books. These will take you through breathing techniques step by step. Hope this helps, Josie

The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. Try looking into nearby clinics that are free, and bring the test to the clinic. This will better assess the situation. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. Also included in our program is an excellent "Exposure Therapy" tool.
