Fear of bridges - any tips?

Scared, You have come to the right place! Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any question or concerns with our €œTOOLS€, you can contact us at support@paniccenter.net. We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have. Many members have tried our Panic Program, with wonderful success. Please don't hesitate to post any concerns, or comments. The online support group is amazingly supportive and insightful. Josie

Anger

Cbruckman, Keep looking for someone that will give you a correct answer (Doctor). Your anger maybe a direct effect from your meds, or perhaps there is an underlying issue that needs to be addresses or exercised. Keep trying for answers, and perhaps try to remove yourself from the situation that angers you. Once you are calmer, you can re-enter with a different state of mind. Also you may want to try relaxation techniques when you feel the anger coming on. Relaxation techniques can be anything from a walk, run or jog, or even a bath or good book. Please continue posting, we are here to help you, Josie

Medication

Sparky, The test on the site is designed by a doctor. Your doctor may have questions or tests for you as well. The site test will help the doctor better assess your situation. It is wonderful that you are asking questions. An informed mind is an excellent tool to have. Let us know how it goes, we are here for you, Josie

Medication

Sparky, Don't be nervous. Your visit may take a little longer than you expect, perhaps an hour or so. He will want to make sure he has all the facts, symptoms, ideas, etc. Give your doctor the anxiety test and let him know about the site and the online support group. If you are feeling apprehensive or nervous, then write down your questions and hand them to the doctor. Your first visit is a good initial bonding. Take your time to browse the site, when you feel comfortable, you can then reply to other's messages. Our online support group is very supportive and knowledgeable. We are all here to help and listen. Hope this helps, Josie __________________ Support Specialist

We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have. Have you tried relaxation techniques? For tonight, prepare by reducing your anxiety level as much as you can. A hot bath, some soothing music, a warm beverage can help. Tomorrow do sign up for the Panic Diary where you can record your daily level of anxiety. You can also find how helpful it is to use breathing techniques to help you deal with your panic and anxiety. The Panic Program can help you understand more and may help you go about challenging your thoughts. Hope this helps! Josie ____________________ Support Specialist
