Can't add any buddies because the damn pop-up blocker won't let it come up. I turned the blocker off but it still blocks it. Apparently, my computer thinks you guys are inappropriate for me. Good to hear from you anyway, Bear.

Hey, Newme. How is the first day going? I'm another 30 year+ smoker with many failed atempts behind me. I can only echo the previous replies, it's attitude & sticking to a plan. This site has been invaluable to me & I am absolutely sure this is my last quit. Stay close.

I am now addicted to this site, a water bottle & plastic coffee straws of which there are many half-chewed ones all over my house. None of those things will kill me, make me smelly & ugly, cost a fortune, cause my children to have less respect for me, embarass me or interfere with the things I want to do. I can't see that I'll be carrying a water bottle & a straw around for 32 years but if I do, I'm good with that. Hang in Lolo, & use whatever you find makes it easier.

Hi, Tryagain. If you are not doing things you want to do because you quit those before you quit smoking, then isn't your inner junkie still dictating your can's & can'ts? Freedom is the big word in your post, you have it. You just have to give yourself permission. How was the beach with your friend & the movie? Your stats are great, you should let yourself enjoy your smoke-free life. Isn't that part of why you quit?
